With a solo show, the Afghan-German artist Aatifi is represented with new ink drawings from the 2019 series 'Verve' at the international art fair paper positions basel parallel to Art Basel. Gallery VON & VON (Nuremberg, Germany) will present the Bielefeld painter and printmaker at Stand 19 – the works drawn with verve are fresh from the studio to the fair. The art fair, at which around thirty international galleries show ‘outstanding positions of contemporary and modern art with a focus on the medium of paper’ (fair information), drawings, collages, silhouettes, photographs, artists’ books and objects, runs from 11 to 16 June 2019.
